In 2021, CPC became an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) company. As an Employee-owned company, our team members value the importance of establishing a strong foundation for customer success. Every employee has ownership in the company, driving the dedication and success of CPC.
History of Consistency
Founded as CPC (Combined Public Communications) in 2000, we’ve never changed our name. Additionally, our leadership team of founders, mission, core values and vision have remained consistent since our inception.
1978
The Founding
CPC founders enter the public telephone industry and become intimately involved with technological advances. When working with a public county entity, they envisioned a world where incarcerated clients would have access to more reliable communication systems while providing more value through service to law enforcement agencies.
2000
Inmate Telephone Services
CPC becomes one of the first providers in the Inmate Telephone Industry.
2001
First Customer
CPC gains the trust of its first facility partner and serves them with 5 employees. We still have our first customer.
